A prominent litigator for over 30 years in both state and federal courts, Ed Plato has handled hundreds of major lawsuits to successful conclusion. He has also been admitted and has practiced before the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Michigan Supreme Court, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Plato has acted as liability defense counsel for several municipalities, school districts, construction companies, contractors, commercial businesses, and insurance companies. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Plato has defended cities and contractors in large exposure lawsuits involving personal injuries and death, class action property damage claims, employment claims, and lawsuits over development projects.
