Geoffrey L. Silverman is a founding partner of Silverman & Morris, P.L.L.C., a West Bloomfield, Michigan, law firm handling bankruptcy, insolvency and commercial matters for individual, local, national and foreign clients. Mr. Silverman's practice is largely focused on commercial and consumer bankruptcy cases, bankruptcy litigation, workouts, and debtors' and creditors' rights issues. Clients whom he has represented in these matter include debtors, majority owners, minority owners, secured creditors, individual unsecured creditors, certified classes of unsecured creditors, landlords, tenants, suppliers, customers, spouses of debtors, co-owners, preference defendants and trustees. Mr. Silverman also practices in the areas of commercial law and commercial litigation.

Mr. Silverman graduated with cum laude honors from University of Michigan School of Law in 1979 and is admitted to practice in Michigan, Indiana, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and the Southern District of Indiana, and in the United States Court of Appeals for both the 6th and 7th Circuits.
