Gregory K. Need handles all matters involving municipal and zoning issues on behalf of municipalities, private property owners, and developers, including appearances before public bodies, rezonings, variances, other approvals, tax appeals, condemnation, and land use litigation. He also maintains an active probate and estate planning practice, advising clients and preparing wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, patient advocate designations, guardianships, and conservatorships. He is an adjunct professor at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School and a co-author of ICLE's 2008 update of Michigan Zoning and Planning. He is a frequent lecturer regarding land use and estate planning issues and is involved in several civic and community leadership positions.
