Jack Davis is a graduate of Harvard Law School. He has been recognized for expert legal skills in the field of real estate transactions. He has been practicing with the Firm of Loomis, Ewert, Parsley, Davis & Gotting, P.C. for over 40 years and has handled hundreds of major real estate negotiations and transactions for a variety of clients throughout the State of Michigan as well as clients all over the United States. He has been published in the Ohio State Law Journal and has lectured in programs regarding transaction issues before the Bar Association of Michigan, the Institute of Continuing Legal Education as well as numerous business and professional groups. He has been selected as a member of delegations of lawyers sent to China (1987), the former USSR (1989) and other former Eastern Bloc countries (1990), to advise government leaders and attorneys in those countries on how to formulate laws on real estate matters for the development of a free market economy. He has been recognized by the Ingham County Bar Association in Michigan as a recipient of the Distinguished Attorney Award. He has been listed in LexisNexis, Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review and rated AV for over 25 years at the highest possible rating for both legal and ethical standards. He has been selected by the Best Lawyer in America publication for several years including 2012. He has been a member of the Representative Assembly of the State Bar of Michigan and has served on the Board of Directors of the Bar Association. He is a Member of the Fellows of the Michigan State Bar Foundation and American Bar Association. Mr. Davis is a member of the Taxation, Real Estate and Probate Sections of the Michigan State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
