Norton Cohen is a Principal in the Detroit labor law firm of Miller Cohen, PLC. He graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 1959 and was appointed law clerk to Justice Carr of the Michigan Supreme Court. Cohen has engaged primarily in the practice of Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability law. He was special counsel to the Michigan AFL-CIO on Workers' Compensation law. He has lectured on Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability, both locally and nationally. He served as the Labor Co-Chair of the Workers' Compensation Committee of the ABA Section on Labor and Employment Law. He was elected to the Michigan Workers' Compensation Hall of Fame in 2000 and is a Fellow of the College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers.
