For 20 years, Richard Roane has focused his practice on the area of family law including divorce, child custody and support, complex business valuation and distribution, and pre- and postnuptial agreements. He is a certified arbitrator, mediator and coach for domestic relations mediation, and a collaborative attorney. Mr. Roane frequently lectures on family law issues for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, ICLE and the Grand Rapids Bar Association. He is a co-editor of the Michigan Family Law, Sixth Edition, ICLE 2004. Memberships: Grand Rapids and American Bar Association Family Law Sections, the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Section and the Bar Associations' respective Foundations.
