Verdicts and Settlements:
- Recovered over $160 million in verdicts and settlements in serious injury and wrongful death claims.
- A driver who suffered foot drop from rear end collision collected $1,800,000 in damages from the at fault driver.
- A police officer caused a collision resulting in a neck injury with cervical fusion the city settled for $2,150,000.
- Plaintiff was a carpenter who was unable to return to the heavy duties of a carpenter, but did return to work in a supervisory capacity. The case settled for $1,600,000.
- A nurse at a local hospital suffered a severely fractured ankle when rear-ended by an intoxicated driver, her case settled for $1,400,000.
- A local hospital misread two PAP smears in a row and the young plaintiff developed cervical cancer which was totally curable if caught earlier, the hospital settled for $2,200,000.
- A construction worker fell from a scaffold after the building owner refused to allow the construction workers to "tie in" to the side of their building. A gust of wind caused the scaffolding to topple, resulting in severe injuries. A $1,500,000 pre-trial offer was rejected. The jury returned a verdict of $7,400,000.
- Resolved for a total of $6,800,000. $4,300,000 arbitration award against defendant #1 and $2,500,000 settlement as to defendant #2 for the Plaintiff suffered physical injuries, including a minor closed head injury.
- Mr. Garvey represented a widow who had been caring for her brain-damaged son for many years. She had been drastically underpaid for this care under Michigan's No-Fault Act. Her auto insurance carrier informed her that "it was her moral obligation" to care for her son and denied payment. Facing the threat of a jury trial; the insurance company paid the mother $7,875,000.
- A widow was denied her husbands $1,000,000 life insurance policy benefit because the insurance company alleged that her husband "misrepresented" the existence of a speeding ticket during the application process the insurance company offered $150,000 . the arbitration panel awarded $1,042,000.
- A major corporation mounted an illegal recall effort and filed frivolous litigation against township board members the recovery was $2,200,000.
- A neurosurgeon negligently placed a screw in the plaintiff's disc during a cervical plating procedure. The jury specifically found that the doctor concealed his negligence from the patient. The jury awarded $931,250 after an offer of $150,000 was rejected. The verdict included $430,000 in exemplary damages for mental distress related to the concealment.
- A passenger in a boat suffered severe leg and left arm injuries when his intoxicated captain ran aground. The insurance company offered $800,000. The case was settled after trial for $1,898,360.00.
- A young man suffered hand injuries after a visibly drunk teenager purchased shotgun slugs from a Kmart clerk and shot him. A jury awarded $1,500,000 against the retailer.
- A physician delayed the delivery of a baby despite signs of fetal distress the doctor and hospital settled for more than $5,000,000 shortly before trial.
- A newborn suffered an infection causing brain damage shortly after birth the hospital paid more than $6,000,000 pre suit to settle the case.
- A West Palm Beach jury returned a verdict of $11,500,000.
- The insurance company for the owner of the boat offered the Estate $200,000. The jury returned a verdict of $12,200,000.

- The family of a brain injured child was cheated in terms of no fault benefits owed by the insurance carrier for family provided attendant care. Case settled for 3,000,000., 2010
- a woman suffered chronic pain from a motor vehicle collision with a police cruiser which failed to activate its siren and ran a red light. Case settled for 2,100,000, 2010
