Profile

Mr. Hickey is a 27-year veteran in the defense of industry-wide and mass tort litigation, insurance coverage law, and commercial litigation in state and federal courts. His practice has included extensive experience in toxic exposure claims, mechanical product liability defense, insurance coverage analysis and litigation, and general civil personal injury and property damage defense. Since 1986 he has served as medical counsel to over 50 corporations in asbestos litigation. Presently he serves as Vice Chair of the Asbestos/Silica Special Litigation Group of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and serves on the Steering Committee of DRI's Toxic Tort/Environmental Law Section.
