Allan F. Shapiro is a respected Minnesota attorney with extensive experience in personal injury law. From his Minneapolis law firm, Finn Shapiro LLC, he represents plaintiffs and select defendants in a wide variety of personal injury and wrongful death claims, including those involving trucking companies, motor vehicle accidents, product liability, premises liability and medical negligence. He is also highly experienced with the Minnesota No-Fault Act.
Mr. Shapiro graduated cum laude with his J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1976. He was named as a Leading Minnesota Lawyer by an independent rating organization and rated AV Preeminent* by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Shapiro was also selected to the Minnesota Supreme Court’s roster of neutral arbitrators and mediators, and to the panel of Creative Dispute Resolution and U.S. Arbitration and Mediation.
Mr. Shapiro has also served as a faculty member of St. Olaf College for more than five years, teaching mediation and arbitration courses. In addition, he has spoken at several continuing education seminars and held the role of adjunct professor at the William Mitchell College of Law. He also works hard to give back to his community through providing pro bono services for the Volunteer Lawyers Network and serving on various boards.
