Bernie M. Dusich has been a certified civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Minnesota Bar Association since 1994. He has been a trial lawyer since 1980 and a member of Sieben Polk, P.A., in Hastings since 1988. He specializes his practice in personal injury, car accidents, defective products, medical malpractice, dental malpractice, asbestos exposure, premises liability and wrongful death. He was president of Sieben Polk, P.A., from 2002 to 2009, and he is past chair of the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association's No-Fault Committee and Legislative Committee.
He has helped asbestos victims and their families obtain several settlements over $1 million, and he has led significant recoveries on behalf of medical negligence and motor vehicle accident victims in his many years of zealous representation for more than 1,000 individuals and families in personal injury claims.
Mr. Dusich is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Minnesota Association for Justice, formerly the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association. He routinely evaluates cases for other attorneys through the Minnesota Association for Justice Case Evaluation Services, and he is a certified neutral arbitrator of the American Arbitration Association.
