Brenda M. Sauro is one of the founding partners of Sauro & Bergstrom, PLLC representing owners, associations and insureds in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Wyoming in Laramie.  She earned her law degree, cum laude, at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, and won first place in the Moot Court competition. Brenda Sauro was named to the Super Lawyers list in 2009 and 2010.

Ms. Sauro is an aggressive advocate for her clients.  Her clients benefit from her 20 years of practice and real time trial experience as she helps them navigate through the legal process.  Practice areas include residential defect claims, moisture intrusion and mold, insurance claims, construction law, trials, appeals and general commercial and civil litigation matters.  She is a published author and requested speaker who has assisted homeowners and condominium and townhome associations with moisture intrusion, construction defect and insurance claims. 

Ms. Sauro has successfully litigated more than 400 construction defect claims, securing millions of dollars in claims resolution on behalf of her clients.  Some of her awards include: an arbitration award of $326,000 in favor of purchasers of a home in a nondisclosure case; an arbitration award ordering sellers to repurchase a home for $495,000 and pay $76,000 in damages to the purchaser based on the sellers' nondisclosures; an arbitration award of $217,000 in favor of clients due to sellers' nondisclosures in a real estate transaction; plus verdicts of $3.3 million, $419,000 and $320,000 in favor of injured consumers in three separate cases.
