Brian L. Sobol is a shareholder in the firm of Katz, Manka, Teplinsky, Graves & Sobol, Ltd. and has practiced primarily in family law for over 25 years. He has a bachelor's degree in child psychology and specializes not only in custody litigation but also in other complex dissolution issues involving large estates including business valuation, real estate, spousal maintenance, contested antenuptial agreements, hidden and dissipated assets, and non-marital claims. Mr. Sobol also has extensive appellate expertise and has successfully argued cases in both the Minnesota Court of Appeals and Minnesota Supreme Court. Mr. Sobol is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers where he currently serves as Administrative Vice President as well as on the Board of Managers, and was 2002-2003 co-chair of the Hennepin County Bar Association Family Law Section. Mr. Sobol was on the board of directors of Cornerstone Advocacy Service from 2002 through 2010. Mr. Sobol has lectured on various domestic law topics and is also a qualified mediator.
