Chris Ugarte is a litigator and appellate attorney at Fafinski Mark & Johnson, P.A. His practice includes experience in handling commercial, employment, aviation, medical malpractice defense and personal injury matters. In addition to litigating cases in state and federal courts across the country, he has defended clients against whistleblower and discrimination-related claims brought by government agencies, including the U.S. Department of Labor, the EEOC, and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights. He has also successfully written appellate briefs that have led the Minnesota Court of Appeals to uphold jury verdicts in favor of his clients. A graduate of Loyola Law School Chicago, Chris gained insight and experience as a law clerk for two Illinois judges, the Honorable Robert Lopez Cepero and the Honorable Barbara McDonald.
