Profile

Mr. Ballintine is a shareholder with Larkin Hoffman Daly & Lindgren Ltd., where he is a member of the firm's Business Litigation Department. He represents employers in litigation involving a diverse range of legal issues including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, breach of noncompete agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets and overtime. He also consults with employers regarding litigation prevention measures, provides training to human resources professionals and acts as General Counsel for a major health care provider in the Twin Cities. In addition, he has conducted numerous seminars on employment-related topics. In 2001, he received a gubernatorial appointment to the Minnesota Board of Architecture and Engineering. Mr. Ballintine received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and his B.A., cum laude, in Economics from Carleton College, which he completed at King's College, Cambridge University in England. He is a member of the Hennepin County, Minnesota State, and American Bar Associations.
