Appellate attorney and litigator Erik Hansen practices in state and federal courts at all levels and is recognized for his direct and concise style of advocacy. Hansen is chair of the firm's Appellate Group, and also maintains an active litigation practice focusing on commercial and real estate matters. Hansen sits on the Minnesota Supreme Court Advisory Committee on the Rules of Civil Appellate Procedure, and serves on the MSBA Membership Committee (Chair, 2004-2007) and Publications Committee. Hansen obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School and obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota -- Morris, where he majored in political science and European studies. This is his fourth year on the Rising Stars list. He also was named a 2006 Up & Coming Attorney by Minnesota Lawyer magazine.
