Frances E. Baillon practices exclusively on behalf of plaintiffs in the area of employment law. Ms. Baillon's litigation experience includes trial and appellate work in both state and federal court. She has argued cases before the Minnesota state and federal district courts, the Minnesota Supreme Court, the Minnesota Court of Appeals and Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has successfully tried and argued cases involving sexual harassment, retaliation, discrimination, wrongful termination and other types of employer misconduct, and cases that involve civil rights or consumer rights violations.
Ms. Baillon received her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1998, where she was also a participant, and later a board member, of the Rosalie Wahl Moot Court Competition. Prior to becoming a founding partner of Baillon Thome Jozwiak Miller & Wanta, Ms. Baillon was an attorney at Jeff Anderson & Associates and Halunen & Associates. Ms. Baillon has co-authored articles published by Fordham Urban Law Journal, the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice, and has presented before the MSBA and Minnesota National Employment Lawyers Association. She has been selected for inclusion in Minnesota Law & Politics magazine's "Rising Stars" list on multiple occasions.
