Jan Gunderson has tried more than 30 jury trials in personal injury defense, no-fault and insurance coverage, sexual harassment/abuse, employment, child care negligence, and premises liability. She represents non-profits, government entities, corporations, and individuals in state and federal courts and in arbitration forums including AAA and NASD.
Ms. Gunderson received her law degree from Hamline University School of Law, where she was on the Hamline Law Review, Midwest Moot Court Team, and worked as a legal writing/research instructor. Since graduation, Ms. Gunderson has served as chair of the Alumni Board and has been recognized by HUSL as a Distinguished Alumna for her ethical leadership and service. She is a member of the National Board and a past president of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an international group of accomplished trial attorneys that promotes law as a profession and the right to civil trial by jury.
Ms. Gunderson is active in pro bono legal work for the Tubman Family Alliance (f/k/a Chrysalis Center for Women). She was named a “Super Lawyer” by Minnesota Law & Politics in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010 and was selected by her peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in Minnesota and the Best Lawyers in America.
