Jane Van Valkenburg is a partner in Dove Fretland & Van Valkenburg in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who has practiced exclusively in the area of family law for more than 25 years. She provides critical guidance to clients to preserve their current and future well-being. Her broad range of family law acumen and experience includes negotiating, settling and litigating family legal matters.

Ms. Van Valkenburg also has extensive experience with alternative dispute resolution processes including collaborative law and mediation.  She has secured multimillion-dollar settlements for clients and represented clients pro bono for the Volunteer Lawyers Network.

Jane Van Valkenburg is admitted to practice law in Minnesota. Ms. Van Valkenburg Is a member of the State Bar of Minnesota, Hennepin County Bar Association - Family Law Section, Volunteer Lawyers Network - Family Law Committee, Collaborative Law Institute, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

Jane Van Valkenburg received her J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law, and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. Jane Van Valkenburg is a fourth-generation attorney.
