Attorney Jennifer A. Thompson is a shareholder of Hammargren & Meyer, P.A., a well-known construction and surety law firm in Bloomington, Minnesota. She handles complex cases involving commercial development, construction litigation claims, mechanics' liens issues, residential construction defects and surety bond claims.

As a dedicated and experienced litigator, she represents contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, suppliers, homeowners and homeowners associations as well as others involved in the commercial or residential construction industry throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Because of her demonstrated trial successes and her commitment to assertive, ethical practice and client service, she has been selected to the Minnesota Rising Stars list of Minnesota Super Lawyers each year since 2007.

As an active member of the legal community, Ms. Thompson participates in several organizations devoted to her areas of practice such as the Associated Builders and Contractors and the National Association of Women in Construction. She is also a member of the Ramsey County Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Ms. Thompson received her law degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, after graduating cum laude at the University of Minnesota. She became a shareholder of Hammargren & Meyer in 2007, and is licensed to practice in Minnesota and before the U.S. District Court of Minnesota.
