Jerod Peterson has practiced exclusively as a criminal defense attorney since his graduation from Stanford Law School in 1973. A staff attorney for the Legal Rights Center for 18 years, he successfully tried cases in both adult and juvenile court ranging from DWIs to homicides. In private practice since 1991, his experience in complex litigation includes defense of antitrust, fraud, customs, government ethics, and securities charges. He is a Criminal Trial Specialist certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and teaches advanced trial techniques for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and for William Mitchell College of Law. He has been named to Minnesota Law & Politics magazine's Super Lawyers list every year since 1997.
