Joan and attorneys in her office practice exclusively in family law. She combines extensive experience with dynamic problem solving skills to effectively represent her clients. Joan's business background benefits those clients facing complex asset division or requiring clear guidance in the financial aspects of their cases. Her thoughtfulness and counsel have benefited numerous clients facing custody and parenting time issues. Joan received her J.D., cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law, and established her own law office in 1992.  Joan is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is the immediate Past President of the Minnesota Chapter.
