Profile

John D. Lamey III graduated, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law in 2001. Prior to forming the Lamey Law Firm in 2003, Mr. Lamey clerked for the Honorable Paulette Kane Flynn in Ramsey County, practiced tax law at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and was in-house counsel for Marquette Financial Companies. Mr. Lamey concentrates his practice on personal and business bankruptcy, secured lending, and general business and corporate law. Mr. Lamey's passion is helping debtors through the complex bankruptcy code to ensure them a fresh start. Mr. Lamey is a guest lecturer at William Mitchell College of Law on bankruptcy topics. Mr. Lamey is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and the MSBA Bankruptcy Section. Mr. Lamey also volunteers his time to SMRLS.
