Profile

Kelley R. Lorix has better than 25 years of experience as a trial lawyer, practicing largely in the areas of family law, divorce, high asset property matters and contested custody cases.  His aggressive, client-focused advocacy has served his clients well, both through trial and alternative dispute resolution, across the metropolitan area.  He has significant successful trial and appellate court experience.  Kelley has been designated as a Leading American Attorney in the civil litigation area, is certified by the MSBA and National Board of Trial Advocacy as a civil trial specialist, and is AV rated.  Mr. Lorix is a member of the Minnesota and Hennepin County Bar Associations and Minnesota Association for Justice.  He is a frequent guest lecturer for the Men's Center in Minneapolis on topics ranging from divorce custody disputes to financial support.  He is a volunteer advisor to the Hennepin County Legal Access Project.  Mr. Lorix is a 1979 graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia and the Hamline University School of Law (1982).
