Profile

De Beer is the founder of de Beer & Associates, P.A., a firm dedicated to family law, with an emphasis on representing business owners or the owner's spouse.  Along with providing representation in all the usual areas of family law, the firm focuses on cases with complex valuation issues, such as closely held business ventures, complex nonmarital issues, or claims of dissipation of assets.  She is an honors graduate from the University of Minnesota Law School and its Carlson School of Management and is a financial evaluator with the (FENE) program for Ramsey and Hennepin Counties. Past and present volunteer experiences include Ethics Investigator to the Lawyers Board of Professional Responsibility; Director, National Association of Women Business Owners, Minnesota Chapter; Volunteer Attorney and Seminar Presenter, Chrysalis Center for Women; Volunteer Attorney, Dads and Families Center; Director, Community Mediation Program; Chair, Membership Committee of the Collaborative Law Institute.
