Profile

Mike Black has been practicing law in St. Paul since 1978. He is a graduate of St. John's University and the University of Wisconsin Law School. His principal focus is on getting good results for his clients at a reasonable cost. He has broad experience in all facets of family law litigation, including motions, trials and appeals. Mike is also an experienced mediator and arbitrator and has a growing practice in family law mediation, receiving referrals from courts, attorneys and individuals. Mike is a member of the board of directors and treasurer of Conflict Resolution Minnesota, a professional association of mediators and arbitrators. In 2004, he received the Second Judicial District Pro Bono Award and was recently elected to the board of the Ramsey County Bar Association.
