Richmond H. McCluer, Jr., is a partner with Price, McCluer & Plachecki. He has been lead counsel in over 250 jury trials, including charges of homicide, robbery, criminal sexual misconduct, and controlled substance crimes. He obtained acquittals in many of these trials. He represented indigent clients as Chief Trial Lawyer for the Third Judicial District Public Defender's Office from 1993 to 2003 and devotes the majority of his private practice to representing individuals accused of crimes. His mission is simple: to strive for justice on behalf of ordinary people. Richmond is known for his zealous and compassionate representation of his clients. Since 1989, he has been an adjunct professor at Winona State University, where he teaches constitutional criminal law and Japanese karate. Winona State University (B.A., magna cum laude, 1976).
