Robert M. Smith represents business owners and individuals involved in complex business disputes, legal malpractice lawsuits, real estate matters, and marriage dissolutions.  He advises businesses on contract, lease, employment, and general business issues.  He has more than twenty five years experience in jury and court trials, appeals, and arbitrations, practicing in both state and federal court.  Smith is a trained mediator and arbitrator.  He is known for his aggressive advocacy, practical advice, and responsive service for his clients.  He has numerous lawyers as business and litigation clients.  He is a 1977 honors graduate from the University of Minnesota Law School.
