Ron limits his practice to the representation of franchisees, dealers and distributors. He has resolved conflicts on behalf of his clients in virtually all 50 states through negotitation, mediation, arbitration and/or litigation, and prides himself on being an aggressive and creative problem solver. Ron is active in the franchise bar, currently serving as the Chair of the American Bar Association's Forum on Franchising-- the first "franchisee lawyer" ever elected to this national position. He has spoken at dozens of functions on franchise and distribution law and the rights of franchisees and dealers, including being the keynote speaker at several annual meetings of various legal and business group meetings. Ron has authored numerous articles, chapters and even a few books on franchise and distribution law, and is regulalrly sought out by the media to comment on issues related to the development of the law in these areas. Ron is very proud to have been selected as one of Minnesota's Top 100 SuperLawyers in 2008, 2009 and 2010, and works hard to continue to earn the trust his peers put in him when the refer their clients to him for assistance. Ron was also recently honored by being named the Distinguished Alumnus for Hamline University School of Law for 2010.
