Fellow, American College of Trial Lawyers; selected for The Best Lawyers in America; certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Criminal Trial Specialist; tried more than 100 cases in state and federal court on a wide variety of matters including securities, banking, mail fraud, bid rigging, antitrust, ERISA fraud, and bribery. Mauzy achieved the first acquittal in Minnesota using the battered woman's syndrome defense. He also represented a CEO against the Office of the Independent Counsel, obtaining an acquittal in Washington, D.C. Most recently, Mauzy won acquittals for the former Chairman of the Republican Party of Minnesota and for a highly regarded Twin Cities pediatrician.
