Bill was licensed to practice law in 1976 after attending the University of Minnesota Law School. He concentrates his practice on the areas of personal injury, family law, civil litigation, and mental health law. Certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association, rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell, and named to the Super Lawyers list by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine, Bill has successfully represented clients throughout the State of Minnesota for over 30 years. Bill has been a member of the Twin Cities Musicians Union since 1963 and was recently inducted into the Minnesota Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Bill also has the privilege of coaching the girls varsity lacrosse team at St. Louis Park High School.
