A Minnesota native, William Bongard grew up traveling the world as the son of a professional foreign service worker. He has spent his entire 29-year legal career in Minnesota at the law firm of Sieben, Grose, Von Holtum & Carey representing only injured people.
William is nationally certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and state certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association.
William was selected by Minnesota Lawyer as one of 15 Attorneys of the Year in 2008. This award is reserved for a select group of attorneys who distinguished themselves in 2008 with their exemplary work. The criteria for selection include leadership in the profession; involvement in major cases or other newsworthy events; excellence in corporate or transactional services; and public service.
William has recovered millions of dollars in damages for people injured on the road, at work, and at home. He also shares his legal talents with the community by regularly judging Mock Trial Programs at the high school and college levels.
William Bongard is a vital member of our firm, providing extensive experience and specialized knowledge in the areas of automobile, motorcycle and snowmobile accidents, homeowner, construction site, defective products, general personal injury claims, and no-fault automobile insurance litigation.
