William L. "Billy" Guice III is the senior partner with Rushing & Guice, P.L.L.C., the oldest law firm in south Mississippi. He is the third generation of the Guice family to practice law with the firm. Guice primarily practices in the area of commercial and general litigation in all state and federal courts in which he is licensed. He also represents banking interests and handles sophisticated financial and real estate transactions. His practice areas also include lender liability and business litigation, white collar criminal defense, as well as admiralty law. He advises his clients in the areas of asset protection and preservation, estate planning, business formation and environmental matters. These clients include financial institutions, physicians, various members of the seafood industry, leaders of business and industry, and many long-term Coast residents. He is licensed to practice in Mississippi, Texas and the District of Columbia.
