Amy Collignon Gunn graduated cum laude from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1996 and currently practices at The Simon Law Firm, P.C. focusing exclusively on plaintiff personal injury litigation. Amy serves as an adjunct professor at Washington University School of Law teaching pretrial litigation. In 2006, The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis awarded Amy the John C. Shepherd Professionalism Award. In 2007, Amy was awarded the Lon O. Hocker Trial Lawyer Award from the Missouri Bar Foundation and was named as an Up and Coming Lawyer by the Missouri Lawyers Weekly. Amy received 40 Under 40 distinction from the St. Louis Business Journal in 2008 and was named named to Best Lawyers in America in 2009. Amy was the recipient of the 2009 Rising Star Women's Justice Award and named to the Top 50 Women Attorneys list by Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers. Amy is AV peer review rated by Martindale-Hubbell. She is on the Board of Governors of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys also serving as Co-Chair of the Women's Caucus. Moreover, Amy is an active Board Member of the Women Lawyer's Association of Greater St. Louis.
