Profile

Jack Bangert is a founding partner of Sherman Taff Bangert Thomas & Coronado, P.C., where he concentrates his practice on litigation. He was named to the Best of the Bar in civil litigation by the Kansas City Business Journal and was chosen as one of the inaugural Legal Leaders of the Year by the Daily Record. He was given the President's Award for his service to the UMKC School of Law, where he served as President of the Law Foundation. Mr. Bangert serves as the President of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers and of the Board of Trustees of Legal Aid of Western Missouri. He is an adjunct Professor in Trial Practice at UMKC School of Law, where he received his J.D., with distinction, in 1976.
