James T. Cook was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1974, and to the Kansas Bar in 2007. He earned his B.S. at the University of Missouri -- Columbia, and his J.D. at the University of Missouri -- Kansas City. He focuses his practice on the area of family law in Missouri and Kansas. He is City Attorney and Prosecuting Attorney in Grain Valley, Missouri as well as the City Attorney in Lake Lotawana, Missouri. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Eastern Jackson County Bar Association and the Missouri Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
