For more than four decades, trial lawyer Lynn R. Johnson has devoted himself to protecting the rights of the injured, to seeking accountability for negligent conduct and to fighting for the rights of all Americans to safe products, safe health care and safer lives through the civil justice system.

Lynn has been a trial lawyer at Shamberg, Johnson & Bergman in Kansas City, Missouri, since 1970, and a partner of the firm since 1974. During that time, Lynn has handled cases involving injuries, accidents and legal issues of every type, while achieving successes that have cemented his reputation in the legal community as one of the best trial attorneys in the country.

Lynn has held an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell since 1976 and has been included in every edition of Best Lawyers in America since 1987. Most recently, Lynn was honored by the Best Lawyers organization with its 2011 Man of the Year Award for medical malpractice law. He is also an invited member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers' Inner Circle of Advocates, which is limited to 100 plaintiff's trial attorneys nationwide, the American Association for Justice and the American Board of Trial Advocates, among others.

*AV Preeminent and BV Distinguished are certification marks of Reed Elsevier Properties Inc., used in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies. Martindale-Hubbell is the facilitator of a peer review rating process. Ratings reflect the anonymous opinions of members of the bar and the judiciary. Martindale-Hubbell peer review ratings fall into two categories: legal ability and general ethical standards.
