Matthew Radefeld concentrates on federal and state criminal law. He tried cases throughout Illinois, Missouri, and the District Court of Eastern Missouri. Matthew argued before the Eastern District of Missouri, the Missouri Supreme Court, and the U.S.C.A. for the Eighth Circuit. He is licensed to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Matthew served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and in the U.S. Army Reserves JAG Corps, obtaining the rank of Captain. A 2000 graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law, he received the St. Louis County Bar Association's 2009 Most Outstanding Young Attorney Award.

Other Outstanding Achievements:
- 1993-2000, served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, achieving the rank of Corporal. Served four years in a Scout/Sniper Platoon and then as a legal clerk for the Marine JAG. Have been given numerous awards and honors. 2002-2010, a member of the United States Army Reserves Judge Advocate General Corps, obtained the rank of Captain wherein he tried several criminal courts martials and adminstrative separation hearings. Have been given numerous awards and honors.
