Profile

James (Andy) Patten handles bankruptcy cases as debtors', creditors', committees' and trustees' counsel. His clientele includes consumers, businesses, farms and ranches, banks, and credit unions. Andy appears in bankruptcy Chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13 cases throughout Montana. He co-edits the State Bar Bankruptcy Section Newsletter, is a member of the Bankruptcy Court Rules Committee, and currently is a lawyer representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference. A graduate, with high honors, from the George Washington University Law School, Andy is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy law and practice including presentations to the Ninth Circuit Chief Bankruptcy Judges.
