Since becoming an attorney, Adam Rothenberg has only represented the rights of those who were injured as a result of another's negligence - plaintiffs. This is a cause for which he is passionate. After growing up in Texas, Adam attended Tulane University in New Orleans for two years. He finished his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington where he received a Bachelor's of Business Administration with honors in 1987.Before turning to law School school, Adam gained valuable business experience working in Human Resource Management for the Atlanta Journal Constitution, an hospital and a toy company. After several years in this field, Adam decided to return to fulfill his dream to study law.Adam graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1993. After working briefly at another firm, he joined Levinson Axelrod in January 1994. Upon joining Levinson Axelrod, Adam was fortunate to be mentored by Richard Levinson and worked closely with him on his difficult cases before assuming his own complex case load.Adam is on the Board of Governors for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America-NJ, member of the ATLA National, life member and Trustee of the Middlesex County Trial Lawyers Association, member of the Middlesex County Bar Association and member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He also serves on the Committee on Certification for the State Bar Association.Adam became a Certified Civil Trail Attorney in 2001. That same year, he became one of the partners in the firm. Adam regularly lectures at continuing legal education seminars for other attorneys in such subjects as the New Jersey State Tort Claims Act, Charitable Immunities Act and Trial preparation.Adam focuses his practice on a broad range of complex litigation cases, ranging from medical malpractice to products liability to construction accidents to auto accidents. His practice includes both State Superior Courts and the Federal District Court. He feels that, as far as clients are concerned, it is essential not only to keep them fully informed, but to express a strong sense of compassion.He is active in the Lion's Club, benefiting the sight and hearing impaired. He has been listed in Who's Who in American Law since 1996. Adam lives in Union County with his wife and two children.
