Anthony J. Murgatroyd is the founder of the Law Offices of Anthony J. Murgatroyd, L.L.C., a Flemington, New Jersey, law firm handling personal injury, wrongful death claims, and workers' compensation claims for clients in Hunterdon County, Warren County, Middlesex County and Somerset County.
Mr. Murgatroyd is among the less than 2 percent of New Jersey attorneys who have earned the state Supreme Court's "Certified Civil Trial Attorney" designation. He is one of a far smaller group of New Jersey lawyers who have earned this same designation from the National Board of Trial Advocacy and one of only 4,000 U.S. members of the Million Dollar Advocates and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates forums.
Mr. Murgatroyd is a 1989 graduate of Rutgers University School of Law and has been admitted to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania since 1990. He is a past president of the Hunterdon County Bar Association (HCBA) and currently serves as a trustee for both the HCBA and the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is also one of the authors of the LexisNexis "Practice Guide: New Jersey Trial, Post-Trial, and Appellate Proceedings" and a frequently featured legal seminar speaker.
