Profile

Bruce E. Chase has focused his practice on Family Law for more than 29 years. Bruce finds the range of issues that arise in divorce actions to be intellectually stimulating. Bruce's cases have included an international custody dispute, dissolution of a same-gender union and the privacy rights of an in-vitro birth mother. Bruce recently represented a dental practice seeking to quash a broad subpoena that, if complied with, would have breached the privacy rights of its patients under HIPAA. Bruce has co-chaired the Family Law Committee of the BCBA for the past six years, is on the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the NJSBA, and is a member of the Board of Governors of the New Jersey Chapter of the AAML. He has been a lecturer, a presenter, and author of family law articles.
