Gregory J. Castano Jr. is a founding partner of Castano Quigley and manages the firm’s state and federal litigation practice group. A former member of the New Jersey Supreme Court District Ethics Committee and Secretary to the Mount St. Dominic Academy Board of Trustees, he is a current member of the St. Mary's Abbey Review Board. After clerking for former Assignment Judge Maurice J. Gallipoli, Greg had served as a senior trial attorney in the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office. He is the former Chairperson of the District VI Fee Arbitration Committee. His areas of legal experience include land use and redevelopment, insurance defense and coverage, claims auditing, asbestos and mass tort defense, legal malpractice, commercial litigation, contract negotiation, defense of prerogative writs actions, and general legal advice to officials, employees and boards. Greg is a Martindale-Hubble AV rated attorney. He has lectured on the topic of recent changes to New Jersey’s eminent domain laws. Greg attended Seton Hall Prep, graduated from Villanova University, and received his law degree from Seton Hall University. He has been a member of the New Jersey bar since 1993.
