James M. Newman is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a matrimonial law attorney and principal of the Law Offices of James M. Newman and Associates of Freehold, New Jersey. Mr. Newman is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and serves as a municipal judge in various jurisdictions. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
A 1969 graduate of the New York University School of Law, Mr. Newman was admitted to the New York Bar in 1970. He continued his studies at the university and completed his Master's in Law degree in 1975. That same year he was admitted to the New Jersey Bar.
Mr. Newman is the President of the Monmouth County Bar Association, and a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, American Judges Association and American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers among others.
