James M. Newman is a partner in the firm of Newman Scarola. He has been practicing law in New Jersey since 1975, having graduated from New York University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 1969 and a Master of Law Degree in 1975. He has been certified by the Supreme Court as a Matrimonial Law Attorney. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He concentrates on handling matters with complex financial and custody issues. He is past co-chair of the Monmouth Bar Family Law Committee and presently serves as a Trustee of the organization. He also serves as a Municipal Judge in various towns in Monmouth County and Mercer County.
