Mr. Lehn chairs the firm's litigation department and specializes in complex commercial and business litigation, with particular emphasis on federal and chancery matters, oppressed minority shareholder litigation involving closely held entities, franchise matters and employment discrimination cases. Mr. Lehn frequently lectures and publishes articles on these topics. Additionally, Mr. Lehn handles professional malpractice matters and renders expert services in legal practice cases. He has represented various types of commercial entities and individuals in a wide variety of business litigation. He has been certified as a civil trial attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Mr. Lehn is active in many bar associations and their committees and alumni organizations involving Columbia University and Columbia Law School. He has served as a member of a District Ethics Committee, by appointment of the Supreme Court of New Jersey, and a member of the Board of Adjustment of the Township of Maplewood. Mr. Lehn has been recognized for his distinction in business litigation by having been selected by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America. He has received numerous appointments by the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, in both Essex and Bergen Counties, to serve as a Special Fiscal Agent and for other purposes.
