Maria Noto is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a criminal trial attorney and is a former President of the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey. Ms. Noto started her career as a public defender and enjoyed a high number of trial victories. She started private practice as a member of the defense team in U.S. v. Accetturo, the federal prosecution of the alleged Lucchese organized crime family in which all 20 defendants were acquitted. Ms. Noto had many trial victories including acquittals in 8 murder cases. She is often called upon to lecture to other attorneys and she practices law with the assistance of her investigator Robert H. Hasanoeddin and her law clerk Kathryn Cipriani.
