Profile

Attorney Philip D. Neuer is executive vice president and general counsel of Safer Textiles Group, a vertical textiles manufacturing conglomerate, and of Safer Development and Management Co., the conglomerate's real estate arm. Based in Newark, New Jersey, Mr. Neuer also maintains a private practice where he focuses on matters involving corporate law, transactional law, commercial real estate law, negotiations, commercial litigation and mediation. Mr. Neuer's experience and expertise in these areas have earned him numerous honors and professional distinctions over the course of his 35-year career, including an AV Preeminent* rating and designation as a "Master of Corporate Real Estate" through NACORE/CoreNet Global.

Apart from private practice, Mr. Neuer serves as an adjunct faculty member for the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University and is a member of the Zoning Board of Adjustment for the Township of West Orange, New Jersey. He has also been appointed by New Jersey courts to serve as a receiver and special fiscal agent and as a designated mediator for both the Superior Court of New Jersey and the Essex County Chancery Court. Mr. Neuer is a graduate of the Baruch School - CCNY (B.B.A., 1968) and Seton Hall University School of Law (J.D., 1976). He is a member of Mensa and appears in various editions of Who's Who.
