Bob Conroy is the senior litigator and a senior principal in the law firm of Kern Augustine Conroy & Schoppmann, P.C., with offices in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Florida. Mr. Conroy's practice is focused on the legal needs of physicians and other healthcare providers, their practices and their professional societies. Mr. Conroy was the Chief of the City of New York's Medical Malpractice Defense Unit and a Special Consultant on medical malpractice issues to the City's Corporation Counsel and the Mayor's Office of Management and Budget. He was a founding director and chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Health and Hospital Law section. Mr. Conroy is a frequent lecturer on health law issues, and has been featured in two nationally distributed video series on the legal aspects of physician practice management. In addition to his law degree, Mr. Conroy holds a Masters in Public Administration from Baruch College of the City University of New York, and a Masters in Public Health from Harvard University with a concentration in health policy and management. Mr. Conroy's peers have recognized his contributions to the practice of law by electing him a Fellow in the International College of Law Practice Management and awarding him the American Bar Association=s prestigious Foonberg Award for excellence in legal publishing.

- New Jersey Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Inc. v. New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners, Supreme Court of New Jersey, (A-92-04). Successful argued on behalf of the Medical Society of New Jersey against the appeal brought by the plaintiff association.
