George "Dave" Giddens, Jr., is a 1983 graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law. He is a member of the Bankruptcy and Solo and Small Firm sections of the State Bar of New Mexico and is admitted in all state and federal courts in New Mexico. He is also admitted in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.
Mr. Giddens practices out of his Albuquerque firm, Law Office of George "Dave" Giddens, P.C. His areas of expertise include bankruptcy (representing creditors, debtors, committees and trustees); civil and commercial litigation; bank collections, foreclosures and documentation; and real estate transactions and litigation.
Mr. Giddens is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, New Mexico Bankers' Association, NAIOP Commercial Development Real Estate Association and the Home Builders Association of Central New Mexico. He is an AV-rated* attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.

Pro bono/Community Service:
- Dave and his wife Elizabeth are regular contributors to local homeless and humanitarian charities, including the Albuquerque Rescue Mission, Noon Day Ministries, Good Shepherd Center, St. Martin's Hospitality Center, Joy Junction, Roadrunner Food Bank, The Storehouse, Cuidando los Ninos, the Barrett Foundation, KOATS for Kids and Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN). In his concern for the environment, Dave is working toward a paperless office at his law practice. Since recycling collection is not available at his office, Dave takes home the materials to be recycled every week. He also serves as a volunteer mediator for both U.S. Bankruptcy judges. In this role, he assists the court by encouraging parties to settle difficult cases. Dave also serves as a hearing officer and as an expert witness on bankruptcy matters for the Disciplinary Board of the New Mexico Supreme Court.
