Jim Branch is a Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist (NBTA and New Mexico). He is a former law professor (University of Denver, and adjunct at the University of New Mexico) and has taught courses in evidence, international law, trial practice, procedure, and other subjects. He has been on the faculty of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) for the past 25 years. He has authored several books and numerous law review articles and has been a frequent lecturer at legal seminars. His practice involves False Claims Act Qui Tam (whistleblower), catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, medical negligence, gas explosions, structure failure, oilfield injuries, DWI/dram shop, carbon monoxide poisoning, toxic torts, and insurance bad faith.
