Truck crashes, auto accidents, dangerous premises and construction site accidents often result in spinal, neck and back injuries; brain and head injuries; fractures; or burns. The injured person needs a lawyer who commands the courtroom, who has a vast knowledge of medicine, the necessary resources to support the presentation of complex cases in the courtroom, and a network of credible experts. The lawyer must be able to educate the client about the legal process and counsel the client in the personal matters connected to the case. If the client is not comfortable with the lawyer, he or she should not hesitate to immediately find a new one. This costs nothing. To properly represent the injured, a lawyer must be capable of comprehending the client’s individual injuries and the impact those injuries have had on the client and the client’s family. I believe that my clients feel that I am sensitive to their circumstances because I lived through very serious injuries from a car accident 30 years ago. When I listen to and discuss their medical, physical, mental and emotional experiences with them, they get the sense that I truly understand.
